Full details

Designed for meal-preppers and home cooks who prioritize food longevity, this pack of five 630ml glass containers offers a superior preservation method through an integrated vacuum sealing system. FAQs

Are the glass containers microwave safe?

Yes, the glass bases are microwave safe, but you should always remove the lid before heating.

Can I store these in the freezer?

Yes, the glass is designed to handle cold temperatures, making these suitable for freezer storage.

Do I need to pump every time I open the container?

Yes, every time you open the lid, the vacuum seal is broken and must be reapplied using the pump.

How long will food last with this system?

Vacuum sealing can significantly extend shelf life compared to standard storage, though exact times depend on the specific food type.

Is the manual pump included with the pack?

Yes, the kit comes with a manual hand pump designed specifically for these containers.

Troubleshooting

Vacuum seal does not hold

Check the silicone sealing ring for debris or damage and ensure the valve is clean and pressed firmly into the closed position.

Pump is difficult to operate

Ensure the pump nozzle is centered correctly on the lid valve and that the valve itself is free from food residue.

Lid clips feel loose

Verify that the lid is perfectly aligned with the glass base and that the seal is not obstructed by oversized food items.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Significantly extends food freshness via vacuum technology
Leak-proof lid clips provide peace of mind for transport
Durable, high-quality glass construction resists odors and stains
Integrated date dials help reduce food waste by tracking storage duration

Cons

Manual pump requires physical effort for every use
Fixed 630ml capacity may not suit bulk storage needs
Lid mechanisms require careful handling to maintain the vacuum seal

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin using the containers, place your food inside, secure the lid clips, and place the manual hand pump over the valve on the lid. Pump until you feel firm resistance, indicating that the air has been extracted. When storing, set the date dials to track your progress. For cleaning, remove the silicone sealing rings periodically to wash away any trapped moisture or food particles. Hand washing the lids is recommended to preserve the integrity of the date dial and vacuum valve, while the glass bases are generally dishwasher safe.
