Camellia japonica 'Brushfield’s Yellow' is a striking evergreen shrub renowned for its breathtaking spring display. This variety features glossy leaves and exquisite blooms with white outer petals and creamy-yellow ruffled centers, making it an ideal focal point for any garden bed. It typically grows to a height of 400cm (157") with a spread of 250cm (98"). The flowers can be used as decorative garnishes or dried for use in Asian cuisine. Please note that plant height and spread can vary seasonally. Plants are supplied in a 9cm pot. For optimal growth, plant in moist, well-drained, acid soil in a sheltered, shaded location. Water regularly, preferably with rainwater, and feed occasionally with fertiliser for acid-loving plants. Protect from harsh winter winds and early morning sunlight. Prune lightly to maintain shape and remove faded blooms after flowering.
