FAQs

Are Durex Extra Safe condoms suitable for anal sex?

Yes, but use additional lubrication.

What is the shelf life of Durex Extra Safe condoms?

Check the expiration date printed on the packaging. Condoms are generally effective until this date if stored correctly.

Can I reuse a condom?

No. Condoms are for single use only. Using a condom more than once can increase the risk of pregnancy and STIs.

What if I am allergic to latex?

Durex Extra Safe condoms are made of latex. If you have a latex allergy, you should not use this product. Consider using non-latex condoms.

Where should I store my condoms?

Store condoms in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Avoid storing them in wallets or pockets for extended periods.

What if the condom rolls down during intercourse?

Stop immediately, and reapply a new condom before continuing. If it happened during vaginal or anal intercourse, also consider using emergency contraception.

Can I use condoms with other contraceptives?

Yes, condoms can be used in conjunction with other contraceptive methods for added protection.

Troubleshooting

Condom feels too tight or uncomfortable.

Ensure you are using the correct size. Try a different Durex condom that offers a better fit.

Condom is difficult to unroll.

Make sure the condom is oriented correctly. The rolled edge should face outwards. Try again, ensuring the penis is erect.

Condom breaks or tears during use.

Stop immediately. If the condom breaks, consider using emergency contraception if necessary. Replace with a new condom and ensure proper application.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Preparation: Before use, check the expiration date on the packaging. Ensure the packaging is intact.
Application: Carefully tear the package open from the tear notch. Place the condom on the erect penis, ensuring the rolled edge is facing outwards. Squeeze the tip to remove air, then unroll the condom down the shaft.
Compatibility: Compatible with all Durex lubricants. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they may damage the latex.
Care: Store condoms in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After use, wrap the condom in tissue and dispose of it in a waste bin. Do not flush it down the toilet.
