This Clarke Air Nailer Tacker (CNG1-C) is designed for wood-working professionals and serious DIYers needing a fast and efficient tool for driving F-type 18-gauge nails. Its primary benefit is the high shot rate of 200 shots per minute, allowing for quick project completion. A minor caveat is the requirement for a specific air pressure range (60-100psi) for optimal performance. Key features include its capacity for nails from 15 to 50mm, a magazine holding approximately 100 nails, and a lightweight design at 1.4kg.

This nailer uses F type 18-gauge nails that are between 15mm and 50mm in length.
The nailer requires an air pressure range of 60 to 100 psi for optimal performance.
No, the kit includes the nailer, 2 Allen keys, and lubricant. An air compressor and air hose are required but not included.
The magazine has a capacity of approximately 100 nails.
It is recommended to apply lubricant periodically, especially before first use and during extended operation. Refer to the product manual for specific guidelines.
The nailer weighs 1.4kg, making it relatively lightweight for its class.
It is ideal for tasks like assembling cabinets, installing trim, attaching mouldings, and general woodworking projects that require 18-gauge nails.
Check air pressure and ensure it is within the 60-100 psi range. Verify the air hose connection is secure and that the compressor is providing adequate airflow. Ensure the magazine is properly loaded and the safety mechanism is not engaged.
Increase air pressure slightly (within the recommended range) or ensure the nail length is appropriate for the material thickness. Check for any obstructions in the nail channel.
Stop operation immediately. Release air pressure. Refer to the manual for clearing jams, which typically involves removing the magazine and using the provided Allen keys to carefully extract the jammed nail.
Inspect all air connections for tightness. Check O-rings and seals for damage and replace if necessary. Ensure lubricant is being used appropriately, as dry seals can cause leaks.
