Full details

It provides high-speed 4G LTE connectivity by simply plugging into a USB port on your laptop or power bank. FAQs
Does the DWM-222 create a Wi-Fi hotspot?
No, this is a USB-based adapter intended to provide internet access specifically to the device it is plugged into, not to broadcast a Wi-Fi signal for other devices.
Can I use this with a tablet?
The DWM-222 requires a standard USB Type-A port and the appropriate driver support, so it is typically only compatible with full-featured laptops and desktop computers.
Is the SIM card included?
No, the device is unlocked and does not include a SIM card; you must provide your own Nano SIM from a mobile network provider.
How do I update the firmware?
Check the official D-Link support website for your specific hardware revision to download and install available firmware updates.
Can it be used while traveling internationally?
Yes, provided the device supports the frequency bands used by the local network provider in the country you are visiting.
Troubleshooting
Device is not recognized by the computer
Ensure the device is fully seated in the USB port and try a different port if available. Check if the operating system requires manual driver installation.
No internet connection detected
Verify that your Nano SIM card is properly inserted and active with your mobile provider. Ensure the SIM card is not PIN-locked or that the PIN has been entered if required.
