FAQs
What is the purpose of the variable gain?
The variable gain allows you to adjust the amplification level to suit your specific signal conditions. This helps prevent over-amplification, which can degrade the signal quality, and ensures you get the best possible reception.
Does this amplifier work with all antennas?
Yes, this amplifier is designed to work with most standard UHF antennas that use F-type connectors.
What is the 5G/4G LTE filter?
The 5G/4G LTE filter blocks interference from mobile phone signals, which can interfere with your TV reception, leading to a clearer and more stable picture.
How do I adjust the gain?
The gain can be adjusted using the gain control on the amplifier. Start with a low setting and gradually increase it until you achieve the best picture and sound quality without over-amplification.
Where should I mount the amplifier?
Mount the amplifier on the mast, as close to the antenna as possible, to minimize signal loss.
What if I still have problems after installation?
Consult a professional installer if you are having difficulties or if you're unsure about any part of the installation process.
Is the amplifier weatherproof?
The amplifier has a weatherproof design with foam seal cable entry glands to protect against the elements.
Troubleshooting
No signal or poor picture quality
Check all cable connections, antenna alignment, and amplifier power. Adjust the gain setting. Ensure no obstructions are blocking the antenna.
Interference or pixelation
Check for sources of interference (other electronic devices). Verify that the 5G/4G LTE filter is functioning correctly. Adjust the gain setting to prevent over-amplification.
Amplifier not working
Check the power supply connection. Ensure the power LED is illuminated. Verify the amplifier's input and output connections.
