The Model DHP484 is a Cordless Hammer Driver Drill powered by 18V Li-ion battery (sold separate). It features the Makita Brushless motor, precision engineered to be up to 50% more efficient than a comparative model. Without brushes in place to apply friction, a Brushless motor can produce a greater measure of torque per weight. With more torque at your disposal, less power is required for day-to-day use, adding to the motor's efficiency and extending the product's overall lifetime as maintenance becomes less of an issue. The DHP484 has been developed to succeed model DHP480. The new Makita DC18RC Li-Ion 18V Fast Charger is a replacement for the DC18RA charger and charges 14.4v and 18v Li-ion batteries in 22 minutes. It charges from a UK 240v supply and features a cooling fan and Active 3 Controls, which manage charging voltage, current, and temperature. The cooling system blows cool air into the battery, extending its life and accelerating the charging process. When used with charging adapter ADP03, this charger can also charge Ni-MH slide-on batteries of 9.6V to 24V. When used with charging adapter ADP04, it offers additional charging capabilities. Additional Features: 21 torque settings, 38mm maximum capacity in wood, 13mm maximum capacity in masonry and steel, 30 Nm maximum fastening torque (soft joint), 54 Nm maximum fastening torque (hard joint).
