Ultegra hydraulic road disc brake offers an ideal balance of lightweight design and efficient braking, making it a perfect choice for both enthusiast and competitive riders. This caliper is designed for front wheel use on flat mount forks and can be adjusted for either 140 mm or 160 mm rotors using an adapter. It features oversized 22mm ceramic pistons optimized for heat insulation, lightweight construction, and stiffness. The opposed 2-piston design minimizes leading effect and ensures optimal pad wear for increased braking control. Increased pad-to-rotor clearance reduces the chance of rotor drag. The direct flat mount and open design allow for easy and quick wheel replacement. Mineral oil brake fluid is non-corrosive and less hazardous than conventional hydraulic brake fluids. The Shim-less mounting bracket allows for quick installation and setup. It is recommended for use with Ice Tech FREEZA Center Lock SM-MT800 rotors for optimum braking performance and comes complete with resin compound aluminum radiation fin pads, further improving heat dissipation by reducing brake surface temperature by 50 deg C.
