Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Identify anchor points (walls, posts, trees) that are sturdy enough to support the tension.
- Attach the provided pad eyes to your anchor points using appropriate screws or fixings for the surface.
- Connect the stainless steel D rings on each corner of the shade sail to the pad eyes using the turnbuckles.
- Adjust the turnbuckles to achieve the desired tension. Ensure the sail is taut, with a slight slope for water drainage.
Compatibility:
This shade sail is compatible with most standard outdoor structures like fences, sturdy posts, or mature trees. Ensure any attachment points are secure and can withstand wind and tension.
Care:
- Regularly check the tension and fixings, especially after strong winds or heavy rain.
- Clean the shade sail by hand using mild soap and water with a soft brush or cloth. Rinse thoroughly.
- For deeper cleaning, the shade sail can be machine washed on a gentle cycle. Allow it to air dry completely before re-installing.
- Store in a dry place during winter months or prolonged periods of non-use to prolong its lifespan.
