FAQs
What material is the Gardman Garden Sheet made from?
The sheet is constructed from heavy-duty woven polyethylene, designed for durability in garden use.
What are the dimensions of the garden sheet?
The dimensions of the sheet are 72 inches by 60 inches (approximately 183 cm x 152 cm).
How do I clean the garden sheet?
Clean the sheet with a damp cloth. For tougher dirt, use mild soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before storing.
Can I use this sheet to transport soil or compost?
While it can hold garden debris, it is primarily designed for collecting clippings and leaves. Transporting very heavy materials like wet soil or compost may strain the fabric and handles.
Is the sheet waterproof?
The woven polyethylene offers some resistance to moisture but is not fully waterproof. It is best to dry the sheet after use to prevent mildew.
What kind of garden tasks is this sheet best suited for?
It is ideal for collecting hedge trimmings, leaves, grass clippings, and general garden debris during tasks like pruning, mowing, and tidying up.
Troubleshooting
Sheet is difficult to fold for storage
Ensure all debris is removed and the sheet is completely dry. Fold it systematically, similar to folding a large blanket.
Handles feel strained when carrying heavy loads
Distribute the weight evenly by not overfilling the sheet. Consider making multiple trips if the load is exceptionally heavy.
Debris is still scattering from the edges
Ensure the sheet is laid out flat and the edges are positioned strategically to contain the clippings. Consider using weights on the corners for windy conditions if absolutely necessary.
Pros and Cons
