Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and transport bolts (if any) according to the included manual.
- Placement: Position the dryer on a firm, level surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure there's adequate space around the appliance for air circulation. Use the adjustable feet to level the dryer if necessary, preventing vibrations and noise.
- Power Connection: Plug the dryer into a standard earthed electrical socket. Ensure the voltage matches your household supply.
- Water Tank: The dryer collects condensed water in a removable tank. Ensure it is correctly seated before operation. For continuous drainage, you may have the option to connect a drainage hose (check your manual for specifics).
Compatibility
This Hisense Heat Pump Tumble Dryer is designed for standard household electrical outlets. It is compatible with a wide range of fabrics and clothing types, thanks to its 17 specialized drying programs. Ensure you check garment care labels for specific drying instructions.
Care
- Lint Filter: Crucially, clean the lint filter after every single use. A clogged filter restricts airflow, significantly increasing drying time and energy consumption, and can be a fire hazard.
- Water Tank: Empty the condensed water tank after each cycle. If the tank fills up, the dryer will stop operating.
- Drum Cleaning: Periodically wipe the interior of the drum with a damp cloth to remove any residue or lint build-up. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Exterior Cleaning: Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish.
- Heat Exchanger (Condenser) Cleaning: Refer to your user manual for instructions on how and when to clean the heat exchanger/condenser. This component is vital for the dryer's efficiency and typically requires less frequent cleaning than the lint filter, but is still important.
