Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper installation is vital for the longevity of porcelain paving. It is recommended to lay these slabs on a solid, well-draining concrete sub-base using a high-quality slurry primer to ensure a strong bond between the tile and the mortar bed. Because porcelain is non-porous, traditional dry-laying methods are not suitable; always use a dedicated porcelain-compatible bonding agent. For maintenance, avoid harsh acidic cleaners that could damage the gloss finish. Routine care involves regular sweeping to remove abrasive debris and occasional washing with mild soapy water. During winter, avoid using harsh salt-based de-icers, as these can occasionally impact surface sealants; instead, use sand for grip if necessary.
