The Metabo WP2200 is a high-performance angle grinder engineered for professional contractors and metalworkers who require substantial power for heavy-duty cutting and grinding tasks. Featuring a 2200-watt motor, it provides the brute force necessary to tackle thick materials with ease, though its significant weight and power output may be challenging for smaller, detail-oriented projects or overhead work.

It is designed for demanding professional tasks including heavy-duty cutting, grinding, and metal finishing.
While technically possible with the right accessories, its high power and fixed speed make it better suited for aggressive material removal rather than delicate finishing.
No, the WP2200 operates at a fixed no-load speed of 6600 rpm.
Yes, the side handle can be repositioned to accommodate different cutting angles and user preferences.
Regularly clearing the ventilation slots of debris and ensuring the tool is kept dry will maintain motor efficiency.
Check that the power plug is fully inserted and the outlet is functional; inspect the power cord for breaks.
Ensure you are not applying excessive pressure; verify the disc is not binding in the material.
Check that the grinding or cutting disc is properly centered and tightened; replace the disc if it appears chipped or unbalanced.
Before starting, ensure that the disc is rated for at least 6600 rpm and is properly mounted according to the arbor specifications. Always confirm the power source is grounded and matches the tool's requirements. To maintain the life of the WP2200, periodically clean the air intake vents with compressed air to prevent dust accumulation inside the motor housing. Store the grinder in a dry environment and regularly inspect the power cord for signs of fraying or damage.
