The Makita BL4020 40Vmax 2.0Ah battery is part of the the XGT range, providing a genuine solution for high demand industrial applications. The higher output batteries along with innovative tool design means it is also the solution for high demand industrial users. The battery is designed for tough environmental conditions on site, with an IPX4 rating for water resistance and impact-absorbing padding with a heavy-duty outer casing. The XGT range features digital communication between the tool, batteries, and charger for improved performance and detailed usage history. Features include a new cell type, greatly increased water and drop impact resistance, digital communication, higher potential extraction rate than LXT batteries, battery fuel gauge, and a cooling system for maximum battery life. The Makita DC40RA is a fast charger for XGT Li-Ion batteries, equipped with two cooling fans to enable consecutive charging at optimum times. It is compatible with the ADP10 adaptor for charging LXT Li-ion batteries (not included). Charging time is approximately 28 minutes for a full charge.
