Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires only a drill and a screwdriver. Begin by marking the mounting holes on your wooden or flat surface while the hasp is in the closed position to ensure proper alignment. Once the hasp is mounted, ensure that the screws are fully tightened so they remain concealed when the lock is engaged. For maintenance, keep the keyhole free of dust and debris. If the lock becomes stiff, apply a small amount of graphite lubricant to the cylinder. Do not use oil-based lubricants, as they can attract dust and eventually clog the mechanism.
