The Hozelock Replacement Pump Assembly is the essential maintenance solution for owners of Hozelock Knapsack backpack sprayers who need to restore consistent pressure and fluid flow to their garden equipment. Designed for ease of installation, this component helps extend the service life of your sprayer, saving you the expense of purchasing an entirely new unit; however, users should ensure they are comfortable performing minor mechanical repairs before beginning the replacement process.

This model is specifically designed for Hozelock Knapsack backpack sprayers. Always verify your specific model number before purchasing.
Most installations can be done with basic hand tools or by hand, though a wrench may be needed for stubborn or overtightened caps.
Yes, the HZ100001620 is a complete assembly and includes the necessary seals for a functional replacement.
Signs include loss of pressure during operation, fluid leaking from the pump casing, or the pump handle feeling unresponsive.
While the pump is durable, always refer to your sprayer's user manual regarding the compatibility of chemicals you intend to spray.
Check that the pump assembly is screwed in tightly and ensure the main tank seal is seated correctly and not pinched.
Inspect the internal plunger seal for debris; clean the area and apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the pump shaft.
To install the HZ100001620, first ensure your sprayer is empty and depressurized. Unscrew the existing pump assembly from the tank using the designated wrench or by hand, depending on your model. Carefully remove the old pump, ensuring you do not damage the O-rings or seals within the tank opening. Insert the new replacement assembly, tightening firmly to ensure an airtight seal. For maintenance, always flush your sprayer with clean water after each use to prevent chemical crystallization, which can prematurely damage pump components and seals.
