Troubleshooting
Doormat shedding excessively
Some shedding is normal with natural coir fiber, especially when new. Shake the mat outdoors vigorously. If excessive shedding persists after a few weeks, check that the mat is not overly saturated with water.
Design appears faded
Ensure the mat is not exposed to constant, direct harsh sunlight for extended periods. Clean gently according to care instructions; harsh scrubbing can damage the dyed surface.
Mat is not lying flat
Place heavy objects on the edges of the mat for a few hours to help it flatten. Ensure the surface underneath is even and dry.
