The Bartoline PVA Adhesive & Sealer is a versatile white, water-based bonding agent, adhesive, and sealer for various DIY and building tasks. It excels as a primer, general adhesive, dust sealer, and admixture for cementitious products, offering strong bonds on most porous materials. However, it is not suitable for exterior use or areas with constant dampness.

No, Bartoline PVA Adhesive & Sealer must not be used in exterior applications or in areas subject to constant dampness.
For priming or sealing porous substrates, dilute 1 part PVA with 4 parts water and brush onto the surface.
It will not bond to PVC and rubber materials.
Joints should be clamped together until the bond is formed, allowing up to 24 hours to achieve maximum strength.
While it can adhere textiles, it is generally not recommended for wallpaper application; specific wallpaper adhesives are designed for that purpose.
For small cement renders, combine PVA with an equal amount of water and add to the mortar mix. For larger areas, dilute 3 parts PVA with 1 part water and brush onto the surface before applying the render mix while tacky.
Yes, it is suitable for priming before painting, and once dry, it provides a stable surface for most paint types.
Ensure surfaces were clean, dry, and free from grease. Verify that at least one surface was porous and that sufficient clamping time was allowed (24 hours for maximum strength).
The PVA primer may have been too concentrated or not diluted sufficiently with water. For priming, a dilution of 1 part PVA to 4 parts water is recommended. Ensure even application.
Ensure the container lid was securely closed after each use. If partially dried, try to remove the solid layer carefully, but performance may be compromised.
Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, sound, dry, and free from grease before application.
Compatibility: Bonds well with wood, cork, textiles, plaster, plasterboard, and concrete. It is not compatible with PVC or rubber.
Application: Can be applied by brush. Ensure adequate ventilation during use.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed.
Clean-up: Tools and spills should be cleaned immediately with water while the product is still wet.
