Full details
The DeWALT DCS520 Plunge Saw 54v offers the power of corded tools with the freedom of cordless operation. Its 42-tooth blade ensures fine, accurate cuts with minimal breakout, especially on laminates. Key features include parallel plunge action for a smooth and consistent hand position during cutting, and an anti-kickback function that prevents the saw from moving backward along the rail or climbing out of the workpiece during plunge cuts. With a 55mm depth of cut, it's suitable for trimming and sizing most common door sizes. The enclosed guard provides approximately 90% dust extraction capability. Variable speed adjustment allows for optimal cutting speeds across different materials, and easy rail adjustment ensures quick and accurate alignment with the guide rail. The saw also features full-wave electronics to maintain consistent speed under heavy loads. It is supplied with a 54V XR FLEXVOLT Li-ion Plunge Saw, two 54v 6.0Ah batteries, a fast charger, a T-STAK CASE, and a DCV586M Vacuum. The DCV586M Dust Extractor is M-Class compliant, with less than 0.1% dust escape through the filter, making it suitable for construction sites.
