FAQs
How do I perform a patch test?
Apply a small amount of heated wax to a small area of skin (e.g., the inside of your elbow). Apply a strip, remove it, and wait 24 hours to check for any adverse reactions.
How long should the hair be for waxing?
The ideal hair length is about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) long.
Can I use this kit on my face?
Yes, but be extra careful, especially around sensitive areas. Always perform a patch test first.
How often can I wax?
You can wax every 3-6 weeks, depending on your hair growth.
What should I do if the wax spills?
Allow the wax to cool and harden, then carefully scrape it up. Clean the affected area with a wax cleaner.
Is the kit reusable?
The digital wax heater is reusable. The wax, strips, and pre/after care products are consumables.
What is the warranty on the kit?
Please refer to the product packaging for warranty information.
Troubleshooting
Wax is not melting.
Ensure the heater is plugged in and turned on. Check the power outlet. Make sure the wax is compatible with the heater.
Wax is too hot.
Allow the wax to cool. Use the temperature control on the digital heater to adjust.
Wax is not removing hair effectively.
Ensure the hair length is appropriate. Apply the wax in the direction of hair growth and pull the strip against the hair growth. Check the wax quality.
