The blade is made from high-quality carbon steel, which is hardened and tempered for increased durability and strength.
While versatile, this 10-inch trowel is primarily designed for laying blocks. For more intricate brickwork or smaller joints, a smaller or differently shaped trowel might be more appropriate.
Always clean and thoroughly dry the blade after each use. Store in a dry place. A light application of oil can provide extra protection against rust.
The blade length is 10 inches (250mm).
Yes, this trowel is suitable for use with standard mortar mixes commonly used in masonry.
Ensure the blade is completely dry after each use and store in a dry location. If rust spots appear, gently scrub with a fine-grit sandpaper or steel wool and then re-apply a light coat of oil.
Ensure you are maintaining a relaxed grip. The soft-touch handle is designed for comfort, but taking short breaks can help prevent fatigue.
Ensure the blade is clean and free from any dried mortar residue. For best results, ensure your mortar mix has the correct consistency.
Setup: This trowel requires no assembly. It is ready for immediate use out of the packaging.
Compatibility: The 10-inch RST brick trowel is compatible with standard mortar mixes and various types of building blocks. Its design is optimized for block laying but can be adapted for other masonry tasks.
