The RRD Surflex Hood Jkt is designed for individuals seeking a lightweight, versatile jacket for transitional weather. Its key benefit is the combination of breathability and stretch, allowing for unrestricted movement and everyday comfort. A potential caveat is its suitability for milder conditions rather than extreme cold. This jacket features a Stratofabric membrane for weather protection, a modern matte finish, and practical design elements for daily wear.

The RRD Surflex Hood Jkt is designed as a mid-season jacket. It offers protection against wind and light moisture but may not provide sufficient insulation for very cold winter conditions. Layering with warmer clothing underneath is recommended for colder weather.
You can machine wash the jacket at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle cycle. Avoid bleach and tumble drying on high heat. Air drying is recommended.
Yes, the hood is fixed and adjustable, allowing you to customize the fit for better protection against the elements.
The external fabric is 80% polyamide and 20% elastane, featuring a Stratofabric membrane. The internal lining is 100% polyamide, and the internal fabric is 91% polyester and 9% elastane.
The jacket is marketed as non-iron. If absolutely necessary, use a very low heat setting and exercise caution, especially around logos and taped seams.
Thermo-taping helps to seal the seams of the pockets, offering enhanced protection against light moisture and preventing wind from entering, keeping your hands warmer and items inside drier.
Ensure you are wearing appropriate base layers. The stretch membrane is designed for fit; if it consistently feels too tight, consider if the sizing is correct for your intended use and layering.
The thermo-taped pockets offer protection against light moisture or splashes. They are not designed for submersion in heavy rain. Ensure zippers are fully closed.
Avoid contact with rough surfaces that could snag the fabric. If minor pilling occurs, it can often be carefully removed with a fabric shaver, but be cautious not to damage the membrane.
Setup: No setup is required. This is a ready-to-wear garment.
Compatibility: Designed as outerwear, it pairs well with a variety of base layers and mid-layers. It is suitable for casual wear, travel, and light outdoor activities.
