Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Install the regulator in line with your fuel system, typically after the fuel pump and before the fuel injectors. Ensure the direction of flow matches the arrow on the regulator body. Connect the fuel supply lines to the inlet ports and the return line to the bottom port. The pressure reference port should be connected to a source of manifold vacuum/boost if applicable. A fuel pressure gauge can be connected to the 1/8 NPT gauge port for monitoring.
Compatibility: This regulator is compatible with petrol, diesel, methanol, and ethanol fuels. It features -6 AN (JIC) inlet and return ports and 1/8 NPT ports for reference and gauge connections. Ensure your existing fuel lines and fittings match these specifications or use appropriate adapters.
Care: Due to its robust billet aluminum construction, minimal care is required. Periodically check all fittings for leaks. It is recommended to use a clean fuel filter upstream of the regulator to prevent debris from entering and potentially affecting its operation. Avoid using harsh cleaning chemicals; a damp cloth is usually sufficient for exterior cleaning.
