Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unroll the mesh carefully on a flat surface.
- Measure and mark the desired dimensions for your project.
- Using sturdy scissors, wire cutters, or tin snips, carefully cut the mesh to size. Ensure cuts are clean to prevent snagging.
- For insect screens, secure the cut mesh to a frame using staples, tacks, or specialized screen spline. Ensure the mesh is taut.
- For fencing applications, attach the mesh to posts or frames using wire, zip ties, or screws with washers.
Compatibility:
This mesh is compatible with most standard window and door screen frames. It can be attached to wood, aluminum, or vinyl frames. For animal enclosures, ensure any framing materials used are safe and non-toxic for the intended animals.
Care:
- Clean the mesh periodically with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the stainless steel finish.
- For outdoor applications, occasional rinsing with water is usually sufficient to maintain its appearance and function.
- Inspect regularly for any signs of damage or wear, especially if used as fencing for animals.
