Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your footwear is clean and dry.
- Identify the left and right gripz (if marked, otherwise they are usually universal).
- Stretch the elasticated opening of the gripz.
- Carefully fit the gripz over the toe of your shoe or boot, ensuring the cleats are positioned underneath the sole.
- Pull the heel portion of the gripz over the back of your shoe or boot.
- Check that the gripz are snug and secure.
Compatibility:
These gripz are designed for a wide variety of footwear, including sneakers, casual shoes, walking boots, and even heels. They are best suited for footwear with a relatively smooth sole where the cleats can make direct contact. Avoid using them on thick-soled hiking boots where the fit might be compromised.
Care:
- After each use, especially after exposure to salt or chemicals, rinse the gripz with clean water.
- Allow the gripz to air dry completely before storing them. Do not dry them near direct heat sources.
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Periodically inspect the cleats and the elastic material for any signs of wear or damage.
