No, these are for lashing and securing cargo only. Never use these straps for overhead lifting.
They are made from durable polyester, which handles typical weather well, but it is recommended to store them out of the elements when not in use.
This set includes 4 individual ratchet straps.
The strap webbing is 50mm wide.
Clean out any debris trapped in the teeth of the ratchet and ensure the release lever is fully engaged.
Apply slight pressure to the handle while pulling the release tab firmly; do not use excessive force as this may damage the release spring.
Ensure you have wound the webbing at least two full turns around the mandrel core to create enough friction.
To set up, ensure your vehicle or trailer has rated anchor points capable of withstanding a 2000kg load. Feed the webbing through the slot in the ratchet mandrel, pull the slack out, and pump the handle until the desired tension is achieved.
