Yes, if you have experience with window installation, but ensure you follow building regulations and use proper flashing and sealing techniques.
Obscure glass distorts images on the other side of the pane, providing privacy while still allowing natural light to fill the room.
Yes, the product comes complete with a white cill and handle, making it a comprehensive package.
The trickle vent provides continuous, small-scale ventilation to help manage moisture levels and reduce indoor condensation.
It is generally not recommended to paint PVC frames as it may affect the warranty and lead to peeling over time.
It features an espag multi-point locking system which is a industry standard for high-security residential windows.
Check if the frame is perfectly square or if there is debris in the locking track. Lubricate the metal locking points.
Inspect the perimeter seal and re-apply exterior-grade silicone sealant if gaps are found.
This indicates a seal failure within the double-glazed unit; the unit may need to be replaced by a professional.
Before installation, ensure your wall opening is level and plumb. The window arrives with glazing packers, which are critical for shimming the frame to ensure the sash operates smoothly without binding. Always use high-quality silicone sealant around the perimeter to ensure a weather-tight finish against brickwork or siding. To maintain the window, clean the white PVC frame with a mild soap solution and a non-abrasive cloth; avoid using harsh chemical solvents that can degrade the frame finish. Regularly lubricate the espag locking mechanism once a year with a light silicone-based spray to keep the handle action smooth.
