The Shimano Tiagra 4700 double front derailleur offers updated performance and aesthetics, aligning with higher-end Shimano derailleurs. It features an extended geometry with a longer lever arm for faster shifting, a feature borrowed from 11-speed derailleurs. This 10-speed compatible derailleur brings pro features to sport-level road riders. It boasts an extra-wide pivot link that increases rigidity and reduces flex for improved shifting response. Aluminium links and band contribute to weight savings and increased rigidity. Designed for road cycles with 10-speed drivetrains, it includes a clamp band to fit 34.9 mm frame tubes and a plated steel chain cage. It has a maximum capacity of 16 teeth, supporting outer rings up to 53 tooth.
