Troubleshooting
Prints appear dull or colors are muted
Ensure that the correct ICC profile for Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 188gsm is selected in your printing software and that you are using the 'Fine Art' media setting.
Ink smearing on the paper surface
Verify that your printer's platen gap is set to a wide position to accommodate the thickness of the cotton-based media and prevent head strikes.
Paper edges curling during printing
Store the roll in its original packaging and ensure it reaches room temperature before use; keep the humidity in your print room between 45% and 60%.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve professional results, configure your printer's media settings to 'Fine Art Paper' or select the corresponding ICC profile provided by Hahnemuhle. Because this is a cotton-based matt paper, handle the sheets by the edges to prevent skin oils from affecting the printing surface.
Store the roll in a climate-controlled environment, away from direct sunlight, humidity, and atmospheric pollutants. When mounting or framing, use only acid-free, archival-quality materials to maintain the integrity of the print over time.
