The Power-TEC Lateral Tension Puller (450mm) is designed for automotive body repair professionals needing a versatile tool for dent pulling. Its primary benefit is the adjustable tensioning bridge that accommodates various pulling angles, though its effectiveness is optimized when used with specific Power-TEC accessories. This 450mm puller features a robust aluminum construction, a convenient screw adjuster knob with ratchet compatibility, and a quick-change system for its puller arms, allowing for both inward and outward pulling configurations.

Its main purpose is to provide controlled tension for pulling dents on vehicle body panels, particularly when used with compatible glue pulling systems.
While the puller is designed for Power-TEC pads, some universal glue puller tabs might be adaptable, but optimal compatibility and performance are guaranteed with Power-TEC products.
The puller arms are equipped with a quick-change system that allows them to be reversed to facilitate either inward or outward pulling configurations.
It is recommended to use with Power-TEC Lateral Tension Glue Puller Pads (92736), Gluematic Glue Gun (91237), glue sticks (92342), and optionally, Multi-Angle Pull Mounts (92737).
The 450mm is the mid-size option. Shorter (250mm, Part No. 92733) and longer (900mm, Part No. 92735) versions are available to suit different panel sizes and repair requirements.
The tension is controlled by the user via the screw adjuster knob and potentially a ratchet. The aluminum construction is robust, but specific force limits are not provided; apply tension gradually and carefully.
Verify that the quick-change system is properly engaged and that no debris is obstructing the connection points.
Clean the threads of the screw adjuster and apply a small amount of lubricant if necessary. Ensure the bridge is not under excessive, uneven load.
Check the adhesion of the glue puller pad to the panel. Ensure the puller arms are evenly positioned and applying balanced tension.
Confirm you are using a standard 3/8" drive ratchet. Ensure the drive socket on the adjuster knob is clear of debris.
