Product Information

Full details

The Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix is designed for makeup enthusiasts seeking a hybrid product that offers the intense pigment of a lipstick with the high-shine finish of a gloss. It is an ideal choice for those who prioritize both vibrant color payoff and deep lip hydration, though users should be aware that the high-emollient formula may require more frequent reapplication compared to traditional matte long-wear lipsticks.

FAQs

Is the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix sticky?

No, it is specifically formulated to provide a high-shine finish without the tacky, sticky feeling associated with traditional lip glosses.

Does this product provide full coverage?

The Gloss Bomb Stix is designed to be buildable; one swipe offers a beautiful wash of color, while multiple swipes provide full, opaque coverage.

Should I use a lip balm underneath?

The product is designed to be hydrating on its own, but those with extremely dry lips may choose to apply a thin layer of balm beforehand.

How often should I reapply?

Due to the hydrating, glossy finish, you may want to reapply after eating or drinking to maintain the high-shine look.

Is it safe to leave in my purse during summer?

It is recommended to avoid leaving the product in direct sun or high heat as the nourishing oils in the formula can soften, making the stick fragile.

Troubleshooting

The lipstick feels too soft or is bending during application.

Store the product in a cooler environment and only twist up a small amount (1-2 millimeters) to reduce pressure on the bullet.

Product is feathering or bleeding outside the lip line.

Use a clear or matching lip liner to create a boundary before applying the stick, or blot the edges lightly with a tissue.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Provides a sophisticated high-gloss finish without the tackiness of traditional lip gloss.
Easily portable design perfect for touch-ups throughout the day.
Formulated with hydrating ingredients for long-term lip comfort.
Highly pigmented colors that offer great coverage in a single swipe.

Cons

The emollient nature of the product may result in shorter wear time compared to matte formulas.
May be prone to melting if stored in extreme heat.
The soft stick texture requires careful handling to avoid accidental breakage.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Gloss Bomb Stix lasts as long as possible, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; heat can cause the formula to soften or lose its shape. Because of the hydrating ingredients, it works well on its own, but it can also be layered over a lip liner to define your shape and extend wear time. When using, twist up only as much product as you need for a single application to prevent the stick from breaking. To clean the bullet, gently wipe the exterior with a dry tissue if product accumulates on the sides, but avoid using liquid cleaners or water on the stick itself.
