Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Determine the desired mounting location, ensuring it is on a solid wall structure (e.g., wall studs or solid masonry) for maximum support.
- Use the grab bar as a template to mark the screw hole positions on the wall.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
- Align the grab bar with the pilot holes and securely fasten it using appropriate screws (ensure screws are long enough to anchor into the wall structure).
- Test the stability by applying gentle pressure before full use.
Compatibility:
The grab bar is compatible with most standard wall types, including drywall (with appropriate anchors for studs), tile, and masonry. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy and capable of bearing weight.
Care:
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the wood's water-repellent finish.
- Periodically check that the mounting screws remain tight.
- If the water-repellent finish appears diminished, consider applying a food-safe wood sealant suitable for damp environments.
