Full details

FAQs

How many servings are in one 8-pack?

An 8-pack of Sheba Perfect Portions contains a total of 16 individual servings, with each tray holding two 37.5g portions.

Can I refrigerate leftovers from an opened tray?

Sheba Perfect Portions are designed for immediate consumption to ensure freshness. While you can cover and refrigerate an opened tray for up to 24 hours, it is best to serve both portions promptly as the seal is broken.

Is this food suitable for kittens?

No, Sheba Perfect Portions are specifically formulated for adult cats. Kittens have different nutritional needs and require kitten-specific food.

What is the shelf life of unopened trays?

Unopened trays have a long shelf life, typically indicated by a best-by date printed on the packaging. Store them in a cool, dry place.

Does the salmon flavor contain any artificial ingredients?

No, Sheba Perfect Portions are made with no artificial colors or preservatives.

How much should I feed my cat daily?

Feeding guidelines vary based on your cat's weight and activity level. Please refer to the specific feeding chart on the Sheba Perfect Portions packaging for accurate recommendations.

Troubleshooting

Cat is not eating the food

Ensure the food is served at room temperature. Some cats prefer wet food not to be too cold. Try introducing the food gradually by mixing a small amount with their current food. If the issue persists, consider trying a different Sheba Perfect Portions flavor.

Tray is difficult to open

Ensure you are correctly performing the 'snap, peel & serve' action. The tray should snap in the middle, and then the seal should be peeled back. If a tray seems defective, contact customer support.

Cat experiences digestive upset

While rare, if your cat shows signs of digestive upset, discontinue feeding and consult your veterinarian. Introduce any new food gradually to allow their system to adjust.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Ensures no food waste with pre-portioned servings.
Maintains optimal freshness due to individual sealing.
Convenient and quick to prepare, ideal for busy owners.
Developed with expert nutritional guidance.
Appealing pate texture with fine chunks.

Cons

Pate texture may not suit cats who prefer larger chunks or gravy.
The 8-pack might be a larger initial purchase for trying the product.
Requires daily feeding, not suitable as an occasional treat.
Can be more expensive per ounce compared to larger cans or pouches.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup: This product requires no setup. It is ready to serve directly from the packaging.
