FAQs
Can I use these props outdoors?
Yes, they work well outdoors in fair weather, but avoid using them in high winds or rain as the cardstock is lightweight and susceptible to water damage.
Are the cards pre-punched for the ribbon?
Yes, the cards come with the necessary holes to feed the ribbon through for easy hanging.
Can the text be wiped clean if it gets dirty?
Because the material is cardstock, it is not designed to be wiped with wet cleaners. Only use a dry, soft cloth to remove dust.
What is the total weight of the prop set?
The set is very lightweight, making it easy to carry in a camera bag or wedding emergency kit.
Is the ribbon included in the package?
Yes, a 2-meter long white ribbon is included with the set.
Troubleshooting
Ribbon becomes frayed at the ends
Use a small amount of clear nail polish or a lighter to briefly seal the synthetic ribbon edges to prevent further unravelling.
Cards have minor creases
Place the card under a heavy, flat book for several hours to help flatten the fibers of the cardstock.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Elegant and classic aesthetic suitable for various wedding themes
- Lightweight and easy for guests to handle
- Includes a long 2-meter ribbon for flexible hanging or holding
- Serves as both a photo accessory and a physical keepsake
Cons
- Cardstock material is prone to bending if not stored properly
- Not waterproof, so avoid use in heavy rain or near spilled drinks
- Surface may pick up smudges from finger oils over long periods of use
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the TRIXES props is straightforward. If you intend to hang them, use the included 2-meter white ribbon to create a loop or a banner-style display. If the ribbon is too long for your specific setup, it can easily be cut with standard scissors to the desired length.
To ensure the longevity of the cards:
- Keep them away from moisture and liquids.
- Store them flat in a rigid envelope or box between uses to avoid bent corners.
- If storing for a long time, place them in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight to prevent the beige card color from fading.
- Clean gently with a dry, soft cloth if any surface dust accumulates.
