Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, ensure the intended surface is flat, level, and capable of supporting the weight of the handrail when under pressure. Use a masonry drill bit for concrete installations or a standard wood bit for decking. Once positioned, mark the hole locations, insert the provided expansion bolts, and tighten until the rail is rigid. Periodically inspect the hardware to ensure bolts remain tight. For care, wipe down the handrail with a damp cloth to remove debris; the durable black coating generally resists rust, but touch-up paint may be applied if the finish is scratched during installation or use.
