This Van Line Tyre And Tube Mounting Compound is designed for professional use in all tyre mounting operations, offering a stable, viscous paste that effectively seals the bead-to-rim gap and acts as a flexible pump ring. While it provides excellent sealing for a wide range of vehicles, its stiff paste consistency may require specific application techniques. Key features include its suitability for diverse vehicle types, consistent viscosity, and generous 10kg bucket size.

Its primary function is to lubricate the tyre bead and rim during mounting, ensuring a smooth fit, and to create a temporary seal that assists in seating the bead during inflation.
Yes, it is safe for use on all types of wheels, including alloy, steel, and aluminum, as it is non-corrosive.
The compound is designed to facilitate mounting and bead seating. While it provides a temporary seal during this process, it is not intended as a permanent sealant for the tire itself.
No, it is suitable for both tubeless and tubed tires, aiding in the mounting process for both.
Excess compound can be wiped away with a clean cloth or rag. It is generally water-soluble when wet but becomes more difficult to remove once dried.
When stored correctly in a sealed container at room temperature, the compound typically maintains its properties for several years.
The product is formulated for industrial use. Always refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed information on composition and handling precautions.
Ensure the bucket has been stored at room temperature. If hardened, slightly warming the surface layer (e.g., with a warm cloth) can help improve spreadability without affecting performance. Avoid excessive heat.
Re-inspect the tyre bead and rim for any foreign debris or damage. Ensure an even and sufficient layer of compound was applied to the entire bead surface. If necessary, deflate, re-apply compound, and remount.
Ensure the rim is clean and free from excessive rust or dirt which can absorb moisture. Apply a slightly thicker, even layer of compound. Work efficiently during the mounting process.
Setup: This compound is ready to use straight from the bucket. No mixing or preparation is required. Apply directly to the tyre bead and rim mating surfaces using a brush or applicator.
Compatibility: Compatible with all standard tyre and rim types for motorbikes, cars, trucks, CV, agricultural, and earth-moving equipment. Ensure compatibility with any tire repair materials if used in conjunction.
Care: Store the bucket in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep the lid tightly sealed when not in use to prevent drying out and maintain optimal viscosity.
