Full details
The Pz.Kpfw. VI "Tiger" with the side number 114, located in the Musée des Blindés in Saumur, France, is a significant exhibit. Tiger tanks were renowned German armored machines of World War II, known for their powerful 88mm gun and thick armor. This specific specimen, marked with number 114, is one of the few preserved worldwide. It participated in combat, was captured by the Allies, and later served in the French army as "Bretagne." Currently undergoing renovation, it will be showcased dynamically. The detailed 1:35 scale model is built from 870 elements and measures 25cm in length. It features a removable block replica of the Maybach HL 210 engine. The model allows for construction with either German or French markings. The turret displays the tactical number "114." Key functionalities include working tracks, an articulated cannon, and a rotating turret. Hatches can be opened to place figures, and the set includes detailed German and French tanker figures with accessories like binoculars and a wrench. The Tiger I, developed by Henschel and produced from 1942, was a formidable heavy tank of its era. Despite initial challenges, it earned a fearsome reputation on the battlefield. Approximately 1,350 units were produced. This COBI set includes 870 high-quality, EU-manufactured blocks compatible with other brands. The blocks feature durable prints, and the set comes with clear, illustration-based instructions. It includes 2 tanker figures with accessories and double markings for customization. The model is developed in cooperation with Musée des Blindés.
