Product Information

Full details

This is a Tamiya 35247 German Field Kitchen 1:35 scale military model kit. The Wehrmacht was known for its soldiers eating the same food regardless of class. Their rations included wheat and rye bread, pork (mostly sausages), and potatoes. The Wehrmacht's staple diet was a nutrient-rich stew made by combining these ingredients. Hot coffee was also served, making the battlefield feel more like home. The distribution of these rations utilized the "Grobe Feldkuche Hf.13", a two-wheeled field kitchen with a 20k capacity cooking range and stew pot. The kit includes sack, limber, food containers, milk cannisters, and a pail. The model requires assembly and comes with step-by-step illustrated instructions. Parts can be painted as desired. Tools, glue, and paints are not included.
