Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, smooth, and free from any old wallpaper or loose paint. Fill any cracks or holes and sand them smooth. A suitable wallpaper primer is recommended for best adhesion and to facilitate future removal.
Application: This wallpaper is typically applied using the paste-the-wall method, where the adhesive is applied directly to the wall. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the correct type of adhesive and its preparation. Hang the first strip plumb using a spirit level. Subsequent strips should be hung straight after one another, aligning the pattern repeat carefully. Use a soft brush or roller to smooth out any air bubbles, working from the center outwards.
Compatibility: Suitable for most interior walls in living areas, bedrooms, and dining rooms. Avoid areas with high moisture, such as bathrooms or kitchens, unless specifically stated by the manufacturer as being moisture-resistant.
Care: To clean, use a slightly damp cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, as this can damage the metallic finish and the paper. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution may be used sparingly, followed by a rinse with a clean, damp cloth.
