Basis recruits its latest Junior mountain bike. The 'Bolt' is a simplistic yet well-equipped hardtail Mountain Bike designed to make the 'inebe-teen' years on two wheels as fun as possible! Built around a Steel hardtail frame with 24" suspension forks, the Bolt offers a direct and responsive riding feel, with cushioning for rural detours. It boasts an 18-speed Shimano gearing system for inclines and terrain, indexed using Revoshift twist-grip shifters. Supported by Alloy V-Brakes front and rear, this bike provides ample stopping power. The Bolt is a great option for those who have outgrown their current bike and need something more versatile and substantial, but are not yet ready for an adult bike. This bike arrives 80% assembled and may require fitment of the stem, handlebars, and front wheel, along with a general check and tightening of all fixings. Professional assembly is recommended if you are not confident with bicycle mechanics.
