Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up your VEVOR drum kit involves attaching the lugs and tension rods to the shells, followed by mounting the cymbals and tom-toms to their respective hardware stands. Tighten the wing nuts on the stands until firm, but avoid over-torquing the threads.
For long-term care:
- Keep the drum kit in a dry, climate-controlled environment to prevent shell warping.
- Periodically check the tension of the drum heads; if a drum sounds 'dead,' adjust the tension rods in a cross-pattern.
- Wipe down the cymbals with a soft, dry cloth after playing to remove fingerprints and oils, which can lead to corrosion over time.
