FAQs

Are these accessories compatible with other brands of telescopic cleaners?

No, the KCT Telescopic Cleaner Accessory Pack is specifically designed for and compatible only with the KCT Telescopic Household Cleaner.

How many times can the microfibre cloths be washed?

The microfibre cloths are designed to be washable and reusable. With proper care (gentle washing, air drying), they can withstand numerous wash cycles. Specific lifespan depends on usage frequency and washing conditions.

What type of surfaces are the scourer heads suitable for?

The scourer heads are suitable for tougher, more durable surfaces that can withstand abrasion, such as outdoor patio furniture, stubborn grime on pathways, or similar robust materials. Avoid using them on delicate or easily scratched surfaces.

Do I need to buy the KCT Telescopic Household Cleaner separately?

Yes, this product is an accessory pack and requires the KCT Telescopic Household Cleaner to be used. It provides replacement or additional cleaning heads and cloths for that specific device.

Can I use the scourer heads on my car?

While the scourer heads are effective for tough grime, use with caution on automotive surfaces. Test on an inconspicuous area first, as they can be abrasive and may scratch paintwork or delicate finishes.

What are the dimensions of the scourer and microfibre cloths?

The Scourer Accessory Pack pieces have dimensions of 145 x 105mm, and the Washable Microfibre Cloths have dimensions of 170 x 140mm.

Troubleshooting

Scourer head not attaching securely

Ensure you are using one of the provided replacement plastic head units. Align the head unit correctly with the KCT Telescopic Household Cleaner arm and apply firm, even pressure until it locks into place. Check for any debris obstructing the connection points.

Microfibre cloth not cleaning effectively or leaving streaks

Ensure the cloth is properly attached to the head unit. If streaking occurs, the cloth may need to be washed to remove accumulated dirt or residue. Wash the microfibre cloth separately with a mild detergent and avoid fabric softener. Ensure the cloth is clean before use.

Scourer head wears out quickly

Scourer heads are designed for abrasive cleaning. Excessive force or prolonged use on very rough surfaces can accelerate wear. For less demanding tasks, consider using the microfibre cloths to prolong the life of the scourer heads.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Provides essential replacement parts for the KCT Telescopic Household Cleaner.
  • Offers both scrubbing and wiping cleaning options with scourers and microfibre cloths.
  • Easy to attach and detach, facilitating quick changes between cleaning tasks or replacements.
  • Washable cloths contribute to cost savings and environmental friendliness.
  • Specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the KCT Telescopic Household Cleaner system.

Cons

  • Only compatible with the KCT Telescopic Household Cleaner; not a universal accessory.
  • Does not include the main telescopic pole, only the cleaning heads and cloths.
  • Scourer heads are abrasive and may not be suitable for delicate surfaces.
  • Microfibre cloths may require separate washing to maintain optimal performance.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Compatibility:

  • This accessory pack is exclusively designed for use with the KCT Telescopic Household Cleaner. Ensure you have the compatible KCT cleaner before purchasing.

Setup:

  1. Ensure the KCT Telescopic Household Cleaner pole is detached from any power source or is in a stable position.
  2. Take one of the replacement plastic head units from the scourer accessory pack.
  3. Align the plastic head unit with the end of the KCT Telescopic Household Cleaner arm and press firmly until it clicks into place.
  4. For the microfibre cloths, simply attach them to the provided head unit by aligning the cloth's edges with the head's fastening points.

Care:

  • Scourer Heads: After use, rinse the scourer heads thoroughly under running water to remove debris. Allow them to air dry completely.
  • Microfibre Cloths: These cloths are washable. It is recommended to wash them separately from other laundry using a mild detergent. They can typically be machine washed on a gentle cycle. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can reduce the cloth's effectiveness. Air drying is preferred to maintain the integrity of the microfibre material.
