Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Upon receiving your bike, it's recommended to have it professionally assembled or to follow a detailed guide for tightening all bolts, adjusting gears and brakes, and setting tire pressure. Ensure the saddle height and handlebar position are adjusted for your comfort.
Compatibility: The frame is designed with standard mounts for common accessories such as mudguards and racks. It is also prepared for a future dropper post installation. The drivetrain and brake components are standard mountain bike parts, ensuring easy replacement and maintenance.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the bike, especially after riding in wet or muddy conditions. Use mild soap and water, avoiding high-pressure washers directly on bearings or suspension. Dry thoroughly.
- Drivetrain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated. Periodically check for wear on the chain, cassette, and chainrings.
- Brakes: Inspect brake pads for wear and clean rotors if they become contaminated. Ensure hydraulic fluid levels are maintained as per manufacturer recommendations.
- Suspension: Clean the stanchions of the suspension fork regularly. Refer to the fork manufacturer's manual for specific service intervals and recommendations.
- Tires: Maintain appropriate tire pressure for the conditions; lower pressure for more grip, higher pressure for speed on smoother surfaces.
