The FloPlast Niagara 90 Degree Internal Angle is an essential component for homeowners and contractors looking to manage drainage in high-capacity domestic rainwater systems. No, this component is designed specifically for the Niagara Ogee-style profile and will not create a watertight seal with standard half-round systems.
No, the product features a pre-fitted moulded water-tight seal that provides a secure connection out of the box.
Ensure the guttering is cut cleanly and square, and push the guttering firmly into the fitting until the retaining clip locks into place.
Yes, it is manufactured from high-quality materials designed to withstand long-term exposure to sunlight without fading or becoming brittle.
This connector is designed for standard 90-degree internal corner applications.
Check that the gutter run is properly supported by fascia brackets on either side of the angle to prevent sagging.
Inspect the internal seal for debris or damage; if debris is present, clean the seal and ensure the gutter end is cut square and fully pushed into the fitting.
To install, ensure your existing guttering is clean, level, and free from debris. Align the gutter profile with the internal angle and snap it firmly into the pre-fitted retaining clip until you hear a secure engagement. Since this component uses a built-in water-tight seal, avoid applying any solvent weld or silicone lubricants to the seal itself, as this can degrade the rubberized material over time. Compatibility is strictly limited to the FloPlast Niagara Ogee system; verify your current gutter profile before purchase. For maintenance, periodically clear the internal angle of leaves and moss to ensure the high-capacity drainage path remains unobstructed.
