The KitchenAid Artisan Plus Stand Mixer in Silver is designed for passionate home bakers and culinary enthusiasts who require a reliable, high-performance appliance for diverse kitchen tasks. Its key benefit lies in the powerful planetary mixing action and precision control, which ensures consistent results for everything from delicate meringues to heavy bread doughs. However, users should be aware that at 11.1kg, this unit has a substantial footprint and weight, requiring a dedicated spot on your countertop rather than frequent moving.

While the stainless steel bowl is dishwasher safe, it is highly recommended to hand wash the beaters and dough hook to maintain their coating.
The 4.7L bowl is designed to handle standard batches, such as approximately 9 cups of flour or 2 loaves of bread dough.
Most attachments for tilt-head stand mixers are interchangeable across KitchenAid models, but always check your manual for specific compatibility.
The provided set includes the bowl, flex edge beater, flat beater, dough hook, and wire whisk. A pouring shield may need to be purchased separately.
The mixer weighs 11.1kg, which contributes to its stability while operating.
Ensure the bowl is locked securely into the base and that the attachment is properly seated on the shaft.
Adjust the beater-to-bowl clearance using the adjustment screw located on the neck of the mixer.
This is normal for high-torque motors under heavy load; if it becomes too hot, allow the motor to rest for 15-20 minutes.
To set up your mixer, place it on a level, dry surface. Before first use, wash the stainless steel bowl and attachments with warm, soapy water and dry them thoroughly. To change attachments, unlock the tilt-head by lifting the lever, insert the chosen tool into the shaft, and turn it clockwise to lock it into place. For care, avoid using abrasive scrubbers on the polished finish, as this may cause scratches. The stainless steel bowl is dishwasher safe, but it is recommended to hand wash attachments to preserve their finish and structural integrity. Always unplug the unit before cleaning the main housing with a soft, damp cloth.
