Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This watch typically arrives with the crown pulled out to conserve battery. To start the watch, gently push the crown back into its normal position against the case. If the watch is battery-powered, ensure the battery is functional. For chronograph functions, familiarize yourself with the pusher buttons: typically, the top pusher starts and stops the stopwatch, while the bottom pusher resets it.
Compatibility: This is a standalone analog watch and does not have electronic compatibility requirements with other devices.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: While the watch has some water resistance, avoid submerging it for extended periods or exposing it to high-pressure water (e.g., showering, swimming, or water sports) unless explicitly stated as dive-rated.
- Strap Maintenance: If the strap becomes soiled, clean it according to its material (e.g., stainless steel can be wiped; leather straps require specific care).
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original box or a soft pouch to prevent scratches.
