Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This watch comes with a battery installed and is typically ready to wear. Ensure the crown (the small knob on the side of the case) is pushed in completely to engage the timekeeping function. If the watch has stopped, the battery may need replacement.
Compatibility:
This is a standalone analog timepiece and does not have electronic compatibility requirements with other devices.
Care:
- Strap Care: The leather strap should be kept dry. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, and heat, which can cause fading or cracking. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a specialized leather cleaner sparingly.
- Dial and Case: Wipe the case and mineral glass with a soft, dry, or slightly damp microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Water Resistance: Remember the 3 ATM rating means the watch is protected against accidental splashes and rain. Do not wear it while swimming, showering, or during activities involving significant water contact.
- Storage: Store the watch in its original box or a soft pouch when not in use to protect it from scratches and dust.
