Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Prepare the Area: Clear the area where you plan to install the edging of any debris, such as rocks, roots, or large clumps of soil.
- Align the Strips: Position the strips along the desired border, ensuring they are straight or follow the desired curves.
- Insert the Strips: Push each strip firmly into the ground. A rubber mallet can be used to help if the ground is hard. Ensure the top of the strip is level with the surrounding ground or slightly above.
- Check and Adjust: Once all strips are in place, check for any gaps or unevenness. Adjust as needed to achieve a neat finish.
Compatibility
The Woodside Pebble Strip Garden Lawn Border Edging is compatible with most garden environments. However, ensure the ground conditions are suitable for inserting the strips. Avoid areas with underground utilities without checking first.
Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the strips with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the edging for any movement or damage and adjust or replace strips as needed.
- Winter Care: In areas with harsh winters, consider removing the edging to prevent frost heave. Alternatively, ensure the strips are firmly embedded in the ground.
