Product Information
Full details
The Chicco Next2Me Forever Bedside Cot is designed for parents seeking a long-term sleep solution that grows with their child from birth up to four years old. Its primary benefit is the 3-in-1 design that transitions from a safe bedside sleeper to a standalone crib and finally a Montessori-style floor bed, providing consistent comfort throughout early development. While its multi-stage adaptability is a major win, the unit is larger than standard bedside bassinets, requiring more floor space in the primary bedroom.

FAQs
Can this be used for children older than 4?
The product is weight and height tested for children up to 4 years of age; exceeding these limits may compromise the structural integrity.
Does it fit beds with storage drawers?
Yes, the foldable feet are designed specifically to retract, allowing the base to sit flush against beds that have storage underneath.
Is the mattress included?
Yes, a specially designed transpirable mattress that prevents sinking and supports the child's back is included with the cot.
How do I switch between modes?
The user manual provides step-by-step instructions for detaching the upper section to transition from a bedside cot to a standalone or floor bed.
Can the fabric cover go in the dryer?
It is recommended to air-dry the fabrics to maintain their shape and integrity; refer to the care label for specific temperature guidance.
Is the tilt feature safe for all ages?
The tilt feature is intended primarily for infants to assist with reflux; consult your pediatrician before adjusting the angle for older children.
Troubleshooting
Side panel is difficult to slide
Check if the cot is level. If the unit is tilted for reflux, the weight distribution can sometimes hinder the sliding mechanism. Ensure the locking pins are fully engaged.
Cot feels wobbly against the bed
Tighten the safety straps that connect the cot to the bed frame and ensure the foldable feet are pressed firmly against the underside of your bed.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The cot requires an initial assembly following the included manual. Ensure the base is placed on a flat, level surface and that all four wheels are locked when the cot is in use. When attaching to an adult bed, always use the provided safety straps to secure the cot firmly against the parent mattress.
Compatibility: This model is designed for high versatility. The foldable feet allow it to slide under divan beds that lack clearance, while the 11 height adjustments ensure a flush fit against mattresses of varying depths.
Care: To maintain hygiene, the fabric liner can be removed and machine-washed on a gentle cycle. The frame should be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Regularly check that all locking mechanisms for the side barrier and wheel brakes remain debris-free and fully functional.
