The Avid Re-Rig Hair Needle is a professional-grade tool designed specifically for anglers who frequently use hard baits and require a reliable, heavy-duty solution for mounting rigs. Its primary benefit is the combination of superior durability with an ergonomic design that reduces hand fatigue, though users should note that the needle's robust gauge may not be suitable for very delicate or small-diameter soft baits.

While it can be used, the heavy-duty nature of this needle is optimized for hard baits. For very soft pellets, you may find it creates a larger hole than desired.
Yes, the soft-touch handle is designed to withstand exposure to water and the elements.
Store it in a dedicated tackle wallet or tool tray to keep the needle point protected from damage.
Absolutely. The strength of the needle is ideal for pulling thicker diameter braids through hard bait structures.
Avoid poking the needle into hard surfaces like rocks or concrete. Use it only for its intended purpose of piercing bait.
Check for dried bait residue on the tip and wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Clean the soft-touch grip with mild soap and water to remove any bait oils or lubricants.
To ensure the longevity of your Avid Re-Rig Hair Needle, rinse it with fresh water after use in saltwater or muddy conditions to prevent debris buildup near the handle join.
